The name generators are free to use for personal, commercial, fiction, gaming, and other lawful purposes. You can copy and use generated names without attribution to us.

No warranty

Names are generated algorithmically from public datasets. We make no warranty that:

• A generated name is unique, original, or trademark-free — always run a trademark and domain search before commercial use.
• Etymology / meaning information is exact — meanings reflect documented sources but may have alternate interpretations.
• The site will always be available — we may have downtime for maintenance.

AI-generated content disclaimer

Our AI tools use large language models. AI output:

• May contain inaccuracies, made-up references, or off-topic results.
• Should be treated as inspiration, not factual recommendations.
• Is your responsibility to review and verify before use.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Fake Name Generator (or any generated identity) to:

• Commit fraud or identity theft.
• Impersonate a real person.
• Create accounts in violation of a platform's terms.
• Deceive or harm others.

You may not automate scraping of our API endpoints or attempt to overwhelm our servers. Reasonable use is welcomed; abuse may be rate-limited or blocked.
